Hiking and biking Cedar Bay, Queensland

Dallas Hewett and Derek Morrison weren’t sure what the mysterious draw was to Cedar Bay at Far North Queensland’s Cape Tribulation, but they left with a deeper understanding of why so many before had also felt a similar intrigue and connection.

Mangkalba (Cedar Bay) is 40km south of Cooktown. The park lies between Cape Tribulation and Cooktown and is accessible by boat or on foot via two tracks — The Home Rule Track (North) and the Gap Creek Track (South).
